Camp Studio welcomes all interested in recording and audio exploration! Because recording is a broad concept, campers will choose-their-own-adventure, with the flexibility to record songs with a band, produce a podcast, or explore digital composition emphasizing sampling and found sound. Each day unfolds with a blend of group lessons, listening exercises, and personalized 1:1 sessions with instructors, empowering campers to shape their unique creations to take home by the week's end.
At Camp Studio, our priority is to inspire campers to embrace creative freedom and produce something they love, whether it takes the form of a hilarious podcast or an indie banger! The week will conclude with a camp concert, featuring the campers' hard work and ingenuity for their families and friends. Join us in fostering a love for creativity, where every camper's unique voice is celebrated and showcased in the spotlight!
Beginners welcome, we’ll show you what to do!

Camp FAQ
What will campers do during the week?
The main goal for each camp is to prepare songs or work on a performance, recording or other project for the camp concert at the end of the week. Depending on the camp, activities might include band practice, individual and group lessons, songwriting, art projects, and a variety of other enrichment activities.

Does my child need any experience?
Some experience with an instrument and/or private lessons is recommended, but anyone can participate regardless of their skill level. We just ask that beginners show up ready to learn something new!

How long is the camp day?
Camp runs from 9am-3pm every day except for Friday, which runs a little longer. We start the camp concert at 3pm on Fridays and tend to finish around 3:30 or 4:00. In the morning, doors open at 8:45am for early arrivals. In the afternoon we are open for lessons when the camp day ends so campers are welcome to hang out at the school after camp if need be. Please let us know if you have questions or how we can make drop off and pick up work best for your family.

What about lunch?
Campers have the option of packing a lunch, or ordering from Pizza Bellino. In an effort to avoid overwhelming the Pizza Bellino staff during their lunch rush, we plan to order a couple of full pizzas to split between the campers. For $5 we will provide 2 slices of pizza and a drink. We also offer a daily morning snack (pretzels, fruit snacks, water, juice, etc.). Please let us know on the Camper Safety Form if there are any food allergies etc.

What time is the camp concert?
Each camp concludes with a performance of some kind on Friday starting immediately at the end of the camp day, 3pm-3:30 or 4pm. Friends and family members are welcome!
