About the classes

Every little groove starts here

Long before children learn to read notes, they are already bouncing to rhythms, babbling melodies, and reaching for anything that makes a sound. Music Together meets young kids right where they are, channeling that natural curiosity into singing, moving, and making music alongside the adults they love.

In the core Music Together program, classes are built for the whole family. Grown-ups participate right alongside their little ones, creating a cozy, playful environment where kids learn through imitation and shared joy. For older preschoolers, we also offer Rhythm Kids, an exciting drop-off class where children explore drumming, rhythm games, and creative movement independently.

The music continues well beyond class time! Every term includes a beautifully illustrated songbook, helpful parent resources, and full access to the Music Together app so you can stream your class songs at home or on the road. Together, these programs build rhythm, confidence, and a strong musical foundation that prepares kids for private lessons when they are ready.

Mixed-Age

The classic Music Together class. Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers sing, dance, clap, and bounce side by side with their grown-ups. Mixed ages are the point: little ones learn through play and by watching the older kids and adults they love.

Ages 4–5 • Kids attend on their own

Rhythm Kids®

For big kids ready for their own class. Music games, animal rhythm stories, and lots of stomping-flying-climbing fun, plus a first taste of composing, choreographing, and conducting with West African djembe drums, percussion instruments, and their own voices and bodies.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know before you book

Can we try a class before enrolling?

Yes. We offer a one-time trial class for $25 per family, so you can come sing, dance, and play before committing to a full term.

Do the grown-ups need any musical experience?

None at all. If you can sing along in the car you're qualified. Young children learn through play and by watching and listening to the grown-ups they love, so your enthusiasm matters far more than your pitch.

Can we join after a term has started?

If there are open spots within the first half of the term, you can join and pay a prorated tuition. Reach out and we'll check availability.

How do we sign up for the next term?

Active Music Together families have a two-week priority window to re-enroll for the next term. After that, spots open up to other students.

Do parents stay for class?

In Mixed-Age classes, yes; participating grown-ups are part of how the class works. Rhythm Kids (ages 4 to 5) attend on their own.

What if we miss a class?

You're welcome to attend a different session that week, provided there is an opening and you give at least 24 hours notice. No refunds or tuition credits for missed or canceled classes.

Is there a sibling discount?

Two or more subscriptions in your family earn reduced rates on all of them, and infants under one attend free alongside a registered older sibling.
