Music Together

Discover the Joy of Music Together®

Children of all ages are naturally intrigued by music and filled with boundless energy. Our Music Together® classes provide an environment where they can dive into the world of music, connect with their peers, and discover what resonates with them the most!

Age Groups

Music Together welcomes all children, from infants to 5 years old, to begin their musical journey. Each class provides a unique and engaging learning experience that is beginner friendly and does not require prior experience in a Music Together class.

  • Ages 0–5 - Mixed–Age Class
  • Ages 4–5 - Rhythm Kids I

Mixed-Age Class | Ages 0–5

Expect to sing, dance, clap, and bounce with your child while learning fun songs  together! Early interactions with music foster the development of strong rhythm skills, aural recognition, and an intuitive understanding of music that will lay the foundation for lifelong musical growth and appreciation.

Your role as the caregiver is essential! Young children learn through play and by watching and listening to the grown-ups they love. Setting an example as an enthusiastic participant in Music Together® is a wonderful way to encourage your little one to explore during class and peak their interest. While parent participation is encouraged, you don’t need any musical skills to get started. Just a desire to have fun with your little one!

Rhythm Kids | Ages 4–5

Rhythm Kids taps into how children ages 4–5 are wired to learn with music games, animal rhythm stories, and lots of stomping-flying-climbing fun. Students learn to compose, choreograph, and conduct as they play—and play with!—a variety of musical instruments: West African djembe drums, percussion instruments, and, the most important instruments of all, their voices and their bodies. As your big kid learns to think and create like a musician, they’ll also build musical connections to the global community!

A Stepping Stone to Private Lessons

Rhythm Kids and the Music Together pedagogy as a whole provide an excellent precursor for young students interested in taking private music lessons in the future. The group format of these programs offers flexibility and fosters social connections, providing students with an engaging introductory experience before moving on to the more intimate setting of one-on-one lessons. Music Together instills a basic understanding of fundamental music concepts, setting students up for success in the next stage of their musical journey.

Music Together® FAQ

  • Can I try out a Music together class before committing to the full term?

Absolutely! We offer a one-time trial class for $25 per family, providing an opportunity for you and your child to experience the magic of Music Together. It's a great way to see if our program is the right fit for you.

  • Can I join the term if it has already started?

Yes! If there are available spots within the first half of the term, students can join and pay a prorated tuition for the remaining weeks. We want to ensure everyone has a chance to join the musical journey, even if the term has already begun.

  • Are parents required to participate in the class?

The Mixed-Age class for ages 0–5 requires parents to stay in the classroom and participate alongside their child. Rhythm Kids students attend class by themselves.

  • What should I bring to my session?

We provide all of the materials you might need for your class, so you don’t need to bring anything. You’re welcome to ask your instructor if you could bring an instrument from home to show the class.

  • What happens if I need to miss a session?

We have an extremely flexible cancellation policy! As long as you provide 24-hour notice, we will cancel your attendance for your upcoming class and you can schedule a time to drop-in to any other Music Together class with an open slot. Read our full terms and conditions here.

  • What happens at the end of the term?

Registered families have a two-week priority window to re-enroll in the next term. After this period, spots will open to other students. You may also change sessions between terms without withdrawing by contacting us here. If you need to withdraw in between terms, submit the withdrawal form here

  • Are there discounts for siblings?

Yes! After the first child, we offer a discounted rate to all registered siblings.

Infants under one year of age may attend the Mixed-Age Class for free when accompanied by a registered older sibling.
