How we handle your information
This policy covers sunburstmusic.com, the marketing site for Sunburst School of Music, 5843 Forbes Avenue, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. Last updated July 2026.
What we collect
- Information you submit through forms on this site (contact, withdrawal, and program inquiry forms): your name, contact details, and whatever you write in your message.
- Usage data through Google Analytics: which pages are visited, the referring site, browser and device type, and approximate (city-level) location. This is collected with cookies and is not tied to your name.
How we use it
- Form submissions are delivered to the school’s inbox and staff spreadsheets so we can respond to you and manage enrollment.
- Analytics tells us which pages are useful and how our advertising performs, so we can improve the site and spend our ad budget sensibly.
- We never sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone beyond the service providers listed below.
Services we rely on
- Google Analytics and Google Ads measure site usage and ad performance. See Google’s privacy policy; you can opt out with the GA opt-out browser add-on or via Google ad settings.
- Resend, Tally, and Google Forms process our form submissions and deliver them to the school.
- Some pages embed content from other services: the map on our contact page comes from Google Maps, and the photo feed on our home page pulls our Instagram posts through Behold. Those services may set their own cookies or log requests when the embeds load.
- Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs (IP addresses and requests) for security and reliability.
Cookies
- The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics and Ads cookies described above. You can block or clear them in your browser settings and the site works fine without them.
