Thundershark formed under the Sunburst Band Program and features Chuck Cranor on guitar, Ben Alter on bass, Angelica Cirannni on keys, and Scott Brancolini on drums. They perform a mix of rock and funk with groove-driven instrumentals. 📷: @lorrietweetCatch Outside the Lines at the Squirrel Hill Night Market tomorrow at 6:30pm! ⚡️❤️‍🔥 OTL is a local rock trio, whose band members met at Sunburst School of Music’s adult band program in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Musical influences include Radiohead, Beck, Sleater Kinney, the Strokes, and Raconteurs. With the addition of Stewart Spencer in 2023, OTL was able to transform their gritty energy from a cover band, into their own authentic sound, commanding your attention every time they play. Their lyrics playfully observe everyday life, while also taking serious note of the concerning changes in the world. OTL is beat obsessed, and melody driven. You won’t want to miss hearing their vocal harmonies at Sept 26th SQNM!! OTL Band members include: Stewart Spencer: lead guitar and vocals David Whitney : bass and vocalist Judy Douglas: drumsCatch @radiumgirlmusic at the Squirrel Hill Night Market tomorrow at 9pm! You might recognize our instructor Riley Deringor fronting the band ❤️‍🔥 Radium Girl was Riley’s solo project before he remembered it’s more fun to play with other people. Now, teamed up with Finn Deringor, Mason Miller, Zack Wolynn, and Kevin Lynch they make catchy, fuzzed-out, no-BS alt rock. Come see them and sing your little heart out.Thanks for coming out to the Sunburst Cabaret last Friday! ❤️‍🔥 The music of Studio Ghibli holds a special place in our hearts & it was a real treat to see our students and teachers play their favorite tunes. Shoutout to Mayim for organizing these events! 🎭Our next featured artist playing the Squirrel Hill Night Market this Saturday is @wild.sprouts.brassica - catch their set at 8pm! 🎺🌱 Brassica and the Wild Sprouts is a 7-piece homegrown whimsical party brass band from Pittsburgh, PA. They play raucous dance music woven with invented folklore, drawing on Balkan, improvisation, and street band vibes; they invite audience participation in their storytelling and dancing, and need no stage or amplification for performance.
