Perform for friends and family at our student recitals and open mics, or take the stage with the Sunburst Band Program at one of Pittsburgh's treasured music venues. Thanks for coming out to the Sunburst Cabaret last Friday! ❤️‍🔥 The music of Studio Ghibli holds a special place in our hearts & it was a real treat to see our students and teachers play their favorite tunes. Shoutout to Mayim for organizing these events! 🎭Our next featured artist playing the Squirrel Hill Night Market this Saturday is @wild.sprouts.brassica - catch their set at 8pm! 🎺🌱 Brassica and the Wild Sprouts is a 7-piece homegrown whimsical party brass band from Pittsburgh, PA. They play raucous dance music woven with invented folklore, drawing on Balkan, improvisation, and street band vibes; they invite audience participation in their storytelling and dancing, and need no stage or amplification for performance. Their sound sits somewhere between progressive rock precision and the raw energy of modern indie. Driven equally by emotional expression and technical discipline, the band writes with purpose and performs with intensity. On stage, Net Force focuses on creating something real in the moment. Each performance evolves through the interaction between the musicians and the room, resulting in a set that feels immediate and fully engaged. Whether in a packed venue or an intimate space, Net Force delivers a performance that pulls people in and holds them there. We couldn’t be more grateful to work with such a talented group of musicians.
