Sign ups for Sunburst's Winter Recitals are open!
Twice a year, every student gets the chance to step on stage and perform whatever they've been working on. It's a great way to grow as a performer and musician, and a ton of fun.
When and where
- Saturday and Sunday, December 12-13: the main recitals, held at the JCC Katz Theater.
- December 4-11: a few additional sessions right here at Sunburst.
Each teacher is assigned to one or two sessions. If those don't work for you, get in touch and we'll help find a session that does, or add one if we need to.
A few reminders
- Students can perform anything they like: solo, with their instructor, with a friend or family member, or to a backing track. Talk to your instructor about how you'd like to play.
- Friends and family are welcome. If you're planning to bring more than four guests, please let us know so we can plan seating.
- Participation is free, and we also collect optional donations for the Sunburst Music Scholarship Fund. You can give on site or when you sign up.
- Adults are welcome to perform too. Not every instructor will be at every session, so check with yours about which one to pick.
Questions about recitals, or need a hand getting signed up? Let us know. We can't wait to hear you perform!
