We want every aspiring musician to have the opportunity to learn. In partnership with New Sun Rising, the Sunburst Music Scholarship Fund offers tuition assistance for families in our community.

Applying for scholarships
Learning music has a profound impact on young lives, and our goal is to make sure our programs are accessible to everyone in our community.
The Sunburst Music Scholarship Fund provides support for students under 18 who need financial assistance to cover monthly tuition. Scholarships cover weekly 30-minute private lessons across any instrument we offer, as well as select group programs.

The Sunburst Music Scholarship Fund is part of New Sun Rising’s Vibrancy Fund, a 501c3 dedicated to creating community, sustainability and opportunity in the Pittsburgh region.

The Sunburst Music Scholarship Fund is supported by donations from our students and community members. To help bring music education to some amazing kids, please use the button below to contribute.
